Steve Turner - Professional Saxophonist
Steve Turner was born on the South Coast of England. He graduated Music College in 1995 and immediately embarked on a colourful music career.
Steve has been involved with many music projects from live tours through session work to film sound tracks (one of which he suspects might have been for a porn-film!). He plays Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone sax and has been known to play two at once. Covering a range of music from blues & soul to funk & punk and everything in between!
Steves most recent credits include Madness' Gold selling album - The Liberty Of Norton Folgate and The Dangermen Sessions Volume 1, Franz Ferdinand and Frances' very own one man record industry Martin Rappeneaus L'Age D'or. He has just returned from this years Festival circuit with notable appearances at Glastonbury, Bestival, The Desert Festival - Dubai, Sziget Festival - Budapest, Guilfest, Athens, The O2 Arena and many more.
As an experienced stadium performer Steve has appeared from Weston to Wembley and Glastonbury to Glasgow and has toured extensively in home grown territories as well as Europe, America and the Far East.

Hi I'm Theo and I've been playing bass for 8 years. I am a very accomplished player and have been gigging regularly for 5 years. Have all my own (top) equipment and (not so top) transport. Am really eager to get into any interesting, not-too-derivative originals projects. I have studio experience also. My influences are very broad ranging but my primary style of playing is comparable to John Entwistle (no, really!)

Well rounded drummer available THANET AREA
I am a (as the title says) well rounded drummer. I play quite a lot of funk and would be interested in jamming/gigging with other funk lovers.
I've been playing for 6/7 years now, have my own kit, but im extremely limited on practice space.
I love playing anything APART from scene or emo stuff (and the obvious ones e.g.Lilly allen and the like),purley on the fact, its really terrible.

Female Rock/Pop Vocalist Looking for a Local Band
I've been singing since I was a kid and have been in a couple of bands but a now looking for a new opportunity. I'm pretty open minded as to whether I join an existing band or start a new one but any existing band must be willing to review their current set list based on my vocal range.
I work full time so am not looking to get a record deal, to gig every week or to make this my career, just to meet other like minded musicians who are willing to rehearse regularly and maybe do the odd local gig. Any Jazz players/bands looking for a guitarist?
I'm a very experienced rock player (over 20 years)who's been getting into Jazz over the last few years but I don't know any Jazz players. I've sat in a few times and play along with Jamey Abersold of course but in spite of years of gigging in all sorts of styles I'm completely new to Jazz. I'm also constantly baffled by Jazz too!!!
This is a bit selfish but I know the only way I'll progress as a Jazz player is to get out there...I might need carrying! Anyone feeling kind?
I'd love to jam, maybe with a view to gigs if things work out.

Keyboard Player Seeks Original Project
Experienced piano/keys player and singer available immediately seeks an alternative to playing covers. For the last five years, I have been playing the circuit regularly with two covers bands - EK1 and Skoobie - and a Pink Floyd tribute band called Us Not Them. I've also depped from time to time with some of the best local bands and musicians in the SE Kent area. Now I seek a change and wish to write and record with like-minded musicians with a view to performing when sufficient material is in the bank.

I've just written and recorded a 1920s pastiche song at home to counter-balance playing 70s and 80s funk covers regularly in EK1, for example. I've been playing guitar for roughly 8 years. I'm 20 years old. I'll be honest my skills are a little bit rusty as other commitments have got in the way and guitar has been the last thing on my mind. But I've realized that music is pretty important to me and I now practice everyday and want to get back into it big time.
I'm interested in being part of a band like Avenged Sevenfold, not just because it's awesome metal but because of the dedicated musicianship behind it. Metal guitarist seeks band
im 22 from Ashford seeking a metal band.
i'm fed up of being in bands that dont go nowhere.
I have all my own pro gear and transport and can play to a good standard.
im more of a rhythm player but can shred a little bit. I prefere to play good riffs though rather than try and shred over everything thus spoling the power of the riff.
I play everything in dropped tuning.. the lower the better. say no to standard E!
im not into covers..
i like all types of metal but I prefere Death/Thrash/Black metal.. anything fast really. though I have a taste for a bit of blues/southern rock/ hardcore / punk /crossover too
I cant be bothered to list all the bands im into because id be here all day.
would prefere to join an existing band that already have something going for them than start afresh but I dont mind that much.
im down to earth, easy going and really willing to put in the hard work required to make a band work. I hate egos and people that think there more metal than everyone esle because they have longer hair or a bigger beard etc etc. its ridiculous.
i'd consider any band thats half decent.

DRUMMER LOOKING FOR BAND!--Updated..
Looking for a band to play, have fun and defiantly have some gigs.
I'm a 17yr old Drummer with 4-5 years of experience, Mostly self taught but do have lessons up London every sat. Can play a variety of styles but prefers rock/alternative/metal/pop. Influences are: Fight star, Funeral for a friend, Enter shikari, Foo fighters, A day to remember/ Blink 182/ Rise Against/ Saliva and much more. Anything similar to these I'm happy with but I'm reasonable so you suggest and ill see what i can do. oh, and What you suggest the chances are, ive done it.
I also just like to say that i do alot of covers in my spare time. so far im covering 127 songs.
I have experience in recording and editing and have my own recording mixer to help the band. I have two kits, one electric and other acoustic. Prefer to play the electric due to it being easier for transport, less hassle basically. However i will purchase a new acoustic kit soon.
Have been in 3 previous bands and have done 4 gigs so far, but like to do more.
If you must know, i play drums more than 2 hours ever day to keep me focused and i would love to be part of a band and get somewhere, basically im dedicated to my work.
I would love to hear from Anyone who is interested. Age doesn't bother me to much as long as your roughly 16-20 and travel wise somewhere near orpington/bromely and if not, then not too far distance away from these.

Guitarist (Also Ukulele/Mandolinist/Pianist) seeks musicians for modern rock band
I am writing tons and tons of songs and have no band to get gigging with. These songs are mainly modern rock in style (e.g Muse) but are quite diverse (I have a metalish/danceish song, one or two acoustic tracks, some really upbeat 'happy songs' some really depressing slow songs...

Bass Player looking for a gig
I'm a 33 year old Bass Player who has recently moved to Kent from Bristol and am looking for a decent band playing either covers or originals, gigging regularly.
My influences are mainly rock oriented - Queen, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Guns 'N' Roses but I'll play pretty much any genre (except Jazz!).
I've got my own good quality gear and transport.

Drummer Available
33yr old experienced male drummer seeks good quality, tasteful, like minded players in alternative/rock/blues band.
Influences include Led Zepplin, Smashing Pumpkins, Queens Of the Stone Age, Soundgarden, Kings Of Leon, Raconteurs, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion & much more. My music taste is very wide & very varied but I most love playing up-front alt/rock/blues drumming.
Favourite drummers (with most bearing on my playing style): Jon Bonham, Dave Grohl, Jimmy Chamberlain. I'm not super technical but pretty handy, solid with plenty of groove.
Kit wise... I play a cool 60's vintage slingerland, with modern zildjian cymbals & hardware.
I have my own transport and am prepared to travel within reason from my address in Hythe, Kent.
I have other commitments so am not looking for thrice weekly rehearsals and twice weekly gigs. My optimum would be an original band writing their own material looking for a creative, skillful drum contribution who rehearse on a week night, are flexible and look to do a gig every month or so.

Experienced singer looking for heavy metal band
I am an experienced singer who has been professionally trained. 3 Octave range with a powerful voice, I sing clean vocals but also wish a harsher style at times. I am also a good frontman and good at working a crowd. Can travel easily but can't drive, have own rehearsal space if needed.
Looking for an organised band with material that want to gig around the local area. I am 18 so I am looking for musicians my age.

Drummer Available - possibly/probably
Errm - I think I'm available to play at the moment.
I know that's a bit 'wishy-washy' but my band of 5 years appears to have, sort of, imploded - I think.
So here I am - all geared up and no band to play with! Possibly....
Me = rotund, 40 odd, vastly experienced, can count to 4 and sometimes even 8 (on a good day), great kit that isn't at all gay-looking, transport, willing, available, a decent chap, will travel far & wide for the right band/gig.
Covers band preferred - rawk, blues, female/male fronted - it matters not.
Recent experience = female fronted rock/pop covers.
Would like to avoid 'Alright Now' & 'Smoke On The Water' if at all possible. Regular gigs nice. Depping considered.
You = quality musicians and/or a tight unit, a larf, like a beer and a rant, hopefully a Chelsea supporter, rehearsing regularly, willing to try 'new' music (I.e outside of the 70's rock bubble of many a-band).
