Powerful Female singer seeks band/ musicians to start band.

My name is danielle and im looking to join a band/ or meet musicians to start a new band.

Im 25 year old female and im a powerful expressive pro alt rock/metal singer likened to christina scabia of lacuna coil, Sharon Janny den Adel of within temptation, amy lee of evanescence. We were formerly The Larkness (A tribute to The Darkness) but that seems to have dried up now, so we're looking to create our own rock to make people cheer and dance...

My name is Derek and I've been playing bass for about 4 years now, bit of a late starter as I'm at the ripe old age of 48 but still very young in my outlook on life!
To bring my playing on and have some fun I really want to be in a band environment. I've been a roadie for my mate's band for about 5 years and do play a couple of songs with them during the set and absolutely love the buzz of being up on stage.
I've got a good standard of kit having a 1973 Fender Jazz as well as a 1990 Precision. My cab is a 4x12 Trace Elliot with an all tube TE head. I also have a Shure wireless set.

My music tastes are pretty wide but I suppose my heart rests mainly in rock and some punk but to be honest I love playing anything that'll get the crowd going. Although a 70's boy whose heart is in much of the classic rock I also love many of today's bands such as the Foo Fighters, Greenday, Snow Patrol, Kings of Leon etc.

I'm seeking, for another Singer to share lead vocals as I prefer guitar over singing, also looking for a Bass player that might be able to help out with backing vocals, another Guitarist to share rhythm and Lead guitar, a Pianist/Keyboard player and a Drummer. Would be great if you all would be able to do bits of backing vocals here and there.
A little bit of experience I would say IS needed but you do NOT have to be a musical master. I have pretty much close to professional equipment (a Gibson Les Paul Classic, a Gibson SJ-200 Acoustic, a Marshall Valvestate Half Stack and a YAMAHA PA System, it would be preferable if you have close to professional equipment too.

I'm 18 will be 19 in June so I would ask for an age range around 17 to 22 but please don't hesitate to call or send me an e-mail to find out.
Influences should include some of these: Drake Bell, Phil Collins, Led Zeppelin, Wolfmother, Muse, Silvertide, The Hoosiers and bands along those lines.

I'm 24 years old and have just moved to Canterbury. I have been drumming since i was 6 and have been taught by the best tutors, (Pete Riley being my main tutor- Google/you tube him and you'll understand). My previous band was a Metal band but please dont let that put you off as i have been trained in Jazz/Soul/Funk/Rock/Fusion etc to an extremely high degree.

24 year old, working the 9-5, haven't played in a year or two, but was pretty good until I moved into a terraced house. Moved out now and into the Kent countryside (near Canterbury).

Musically - anything except "the" band nonsense.

Likes - Electro (Hot Chip, CSS, Chromeo), Niceness (Flaming Lips, Guillemots, Sparklehorse), Jazz (all of it, maybe not freeform...), Funk, Soul (Northern, et. al.), Hip-hop (old school, none of this gangsta bollocks).

I'm a guitarist that is fed up of being in bands that don't play the type of music my playing tends to be suited to (eg, heavy bands that dont hold a great interest for me). My first love is blues and blues based rock, specifically the work of artists such as Robin Trower, and i am looking for a like minded band.
