Hi...after losing the lead singer Thom Yorke of the band.... Ed, Jonny, Colin and Phil are looking for a dedicated male singer/guitarist to carry this on...

We have the astoria 1994 set polished and ready to go and will then move on to others from the bends and ok computer era and then dabble in whatever takes our fancy. we are mid 20s to mid 30s and looking for any guy similar that could fill the part of thom. This involves a bit of guitar to but nothing that challenging.

We are gagging to gig!!! but are willing to work with you until we all feel we are happy and ready. All from Broadstairs area, have all been playing and gigging in various types of bands for at least the last 10 years. Ok, a little distinction needed here. We're not looking for a screaming soloist who's prepared to show off his masturbation techniques on the fret board and we're not looking for a meek'n'mild rhythm guitarist who will sit at the back like a wallflower and is hardly ever heard.

We're looking for a second guitarist who will share all responsibilities. I play rhythm and lead...so will you. I play electric and acoustic...so will you. I play melody or riffs as required...so will you. There's got to be someone out there who is versatile and skilled enough to be able to do both of these things.

Uk's Leading Whitesnake Tribute need talented guitarist

Snakebite have spent the lastv 2 years building up a reputation as being one of the best rock tribute acts on the UK circuit.
Due to one guitarist emigrating and the other being unable to commit to the bands schedule we are now looking for a new guitarist.
We have found one replacement and are now looking to fill the final part of the jigsaw. Just like Whitesnake we have been blessed with the guitarists who have helpeed build our reputation and the remaining position is going to be a tough act to follow. Snakebite play the Whitesnake repetoire in the modern style aiming to replicate the current line up (Doug Aldrich / Reb Beach) we also take a lead from the John Sykes, Steve Vai, Adrian Vandenburgh eras so the material is played quite heavy.

The guitarist we are looking for will be able to play flowing legatos, tapping, sweep picking etc to a high standard. We are a semi pro band with a pro attitude. You will require a good knowledge of musical structure and an ear for detail. Pro level equipment is a must too. Backing vocals would be a huge benefit as there are quite a few vocal harmonies.
We all have a great sense of humour and enjoy playing, this is reflected in our stage show. We have been featured in Classic Rock Magazine, The Daily Express and on Planet Rock (DAB Radio) BBC Radio, Virgin Radio as well as many other revues. We are not looking to play small pubs and do travel to gigs (Weekends) as the South east scene seems to be in decline. Our only current Kent Gig is Beacon Court at Gillingham.
We have band transport in the way of the Snakebus! This is a 6 seater purpose built 2005 VW LT35 Van which makes travel to far flung venues easy and reasonably cheap.
We need to get back into rehearsal as soon as possible as our schedule kicks off again in early October with many other gigs awaiting confirmation for this and next year. For versatile, established,and working (. . .at the moment!)semi-pro 5 piece covers band, whose current vocalist is PREGNANT . . ! ( . . .we just cannot understand it, as she already has two children, so must know what causes this?). I am looking to form a band that will create some of the best original music ever (well thats the ultimate goal ;) some songs already written ) as well as playing covers that we like. Currently have two guitarists (both dodgy singing) and a female vocalist.

Ideally be in the Medway area but if you do live outside and don't mind the travel that would be okay. Should also have the same outlook to life as the rest of us (fun loving, easy going, enjoys beer)

Inventive, inspired, relaxed bass player required for Gravesend / Medway-based alternative rock band.

Kerosene Wish are currently writing and rehearsing as a 3 piece at M5 Studios in Northfleet, have around 45 mins of original material and a cheap-looking website. What more could you ask for? Influences range from the heavyish (Deftones, Reuben) to the more middling Indie (Bloc Party, Bush, QOTSA, Nirvana) to classic bands such as Radiohead, The Who and Zep. Constantly writing new material and trying to perfect our old, we meet fortnightly and don;t take it too seriously. Music isn't fun, we know that, it's bloody hard work, but if we're not jumping around and grinning at least once during rehearsal we know we're doing something wrong.

Equilibrium are looking for a new Drummer

Equilibrium are looking for a new drummer. Steve is set to join the RAF and we are deeply sorry to see him go but wish him all the best in his new career.
Anyone interested must have the usual; own kit; own transport. We are gigging very regularly and plan to continue gigging as much as possible in the future. Therefore, anyone interested must have commitment. This will not suit anyone looking for a second band or side project. Los Salvadores need a bass player

We are based near Maidstone, Kent, and you must be able to get to practice a couple of times a week.We play a unique mix of styles including punk, ska, jazz, hardcore and anything else we feel like doing. Basically if it's fast and dancable, it's Los Salvadores.

We're playing several big festivals this year and have a good following in Kent and London.
We've done a national tour and are looking to do more in the next few months.
We've also been played on Radio 1 a few times and are booked into the shithot Outhouse Studio (Funeral For A Friend, Enter Shikari, Architects) in August to record some more tunes.
We want someone who can play bass to a good standard and write their own parts. We are very open to different and interesting styles.
We write and arrange as a band, and you would be free to get involved in that too if you want.
We practice at least three hours on Sunday evenings (we have our own free practice space) and often meet for writing sessions or extra practice during the week.

The band aims to gig at least once a week, but normally you can expect to be playing two or three shows in that time. We realise this is a high level of commitment on top of practicing. Obviously we take the band seriously, but we have a lot of fun doing it, and genuinely love what we do.

You must have a great voice, but also be prepared to work at the set list......we perform various different live versions - you'll need knowledge of different Zeppelin arrangements, both live and in the studio etc.

You must be willing to attend all rehearsals - The band is based in Kent, and rehearses in Ashford. If, like the rest of us, you are not a look-a-like, then you must be prepared to 'look the part' (We are a dress up tribute act, and a wig if needed will be required).Overall, enthusiasm is a must - you must be a genuine fan of Led Zeppelin, and of course, Robert Plant - knowledge of your 'subject' inc live versions is important...

The band recently performed a live radio session for Kerrang! radio, and some european shows in 2009 is a possibility - (We all, however, also have jobs, so we are not a '3 shows a week' band.)

Have you always wanted to sing in a band but never had the guts?

We might be exactly what you're looking for. We're a newly-formed heavy rock covers band based in East Kent, looking for a vocalist (male or female). Influences/set include Johnny Thunders, The Ramones, The Clash, The Jam etc. Mainly 70s/80s punk/rock but open to ideas.
We consist of female drummer, male lead guitar and male bass, and aged between 30 and 50, none of us are particularly experienced, we just want to have fun and eventually gig.

We only met a year ago, and rehearse a couple of times a month at the moment, although we have a few gigs lined up if we can find the right combination.
Enthusiasm and RELIABILITY are more use to us than experience, so no pros, age not a major problem, probably suit someone 35+ but willing to talk to anyone who doesn't think 21 is over the hill.

Recruiting HouseBand Musos for Blues Jam.

Starting in September, we are staging a Blues Jam at a venue in Gravesend on Thursday nights from 8pm to midnight. We are looking to recruit a houseband. We need a bassist, Drummer and Keys player with own gear and transport. Each week we will be welcoming a different guest guitarist Vocalist.

All we ask is that the musicians are competent blues players and have a passion for blues.
The venue are running with the Jam for six weeks innitially to assess if it is viable to make it a permanent event.
If it takes off it could be a regular gig for the right personnel.
The format will be a one hour set from the houseband and guest, then a jam session for visiting musicians. The evening will be concluded with a few numbers from the houseband.

Good. I'm currently looking for a vocalist to lend their talents to a little musical project I have on the go. Have had the odd track released on ridiculously obscure underground compilations, but I've decided the main thing holding us back is my absolute lack of skill as a vocalist.

Sound Engineer with a good ear needed to balance Front of House/ Back house systems for a very busy gigging and recording 8 piece Live Act.
