We are an exciting 3-piece (guitar/vocals, bass and drums) originals band in need of a replacement drummer.
Our first album was released last year - we are currently recording the second, with the third already written.
We include a few covers for gigs (Stranglers, Jam, Cure, etc), but the emphasis is on our originals.
Age, looks and gender aren't important - an ability to fill the sound of a 3-piece with some fine drumming is! Sense of humour a must.

Vocalist & saxophonist require bass, keys and drums to form Jazz/soul quintet
Vocalist Rachel and saxophonist Katy are looking for a bass player, a keyboard player and a drummer to form a quintet to cover Jazz Standards from the 1930's onwards, plus contemporary songs, by artists such as Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Etta James, Dusty Springfield, Al Green, Katie Melua, Candy Staton, Amy Winehouse and Corrine Bailey-Rae.
We are based in Canterbury & Whitstable and are looking to rehearse at least once a fortnight at weekends/a week night.
Rachel has sung with the Riverside Jazz band for many years and wants to give herself a fresh challenge!
Katy has most recently played with James Bradley's, Stormy Monday, The Trouser Trumpets and am currently lead alto saxophonist in the Annie whitehead Whitstable World Music Big Band. (I can be heard soloing in Cantaloupe Island at the Margate Jazz Fest with the Annie Whitehead Big Band on Myspace)

Who Fancies Forming A Glam Rock Band?

Female Blues Vocalist ( South East Kent)
I am a mature and experienced blues guitarist who can also play keyboards and blues harp,and do backing vocals, hoping to form a 4 piece blues band in Folkestone area with view to weekly rehearsal and live gigs when ready. Band will consist of guitar, bass and drums and a female lead vocal as front person. This is a new project starting from scratch although I am already in contact with two drummers and a bass player with similar experience and objectives. With a 4 piece band I am hoping to achieve the required slickness for gigs within weeks rather than months, and hope to gig by early spring.
By seeking a female singer, the base of artistes offering possible cover material is increased drastically as we can play most female and male lead blues covers. The converse is not often possible with a male vocalist because of lyrics content.
Currently I do not intend to include vocals in our rehearsal strategy until we have something to offer, so I am at the moment trying to compile a register of interested vocalists, whom we can call upon for a try out in a couople weeks time. If you are intersted , please reply to email below. Previous experience is not essential but if you also play an instrument so much the better. You will, however, need your own transport unless you are very local in Folkestone. Your own P A rig would also be very useful but not totally essential.

Band members wanted
62 year old drummer would like to meet up with other musicians.
Been around since the 60's although been off the scene for a few years. I would like to find others of a similar age, living not too far from Folkestone. Any style (apart from punk and HM). I'm open to ideas - all that matters is that we love playing, live reasonably locally, rehearse regularly and in time, gig as and when locally. I'm not in it for the money or fame, it is more important to find like minded musicians that want to have some fun.

Lead guitarist wanted
3 piece indie/punk band looking for an experienced lead guitarist to complete line up. We have been rehearsing for just over a year and had a lot of bad luck with lead guitairsts that have wasted our time. Drummer and Guitarist Needed for Originals Band
Hi were an originals band called The Fm were based in Ashford Kent. Our drummer's leaving us in a few month to pursue his career so were starting to look for a replacement now, the sooner we can replace him the better (without sounding horrible) he's going to stay on with us until we replace him which should ensure a smooth transition between you.
We practice weekly in a proper rehearsal studio in Ashford, we have plenty of gigs lined up once were ready to get back on it and plans to get back into a studio.
Were looking for someone who will put the band first in their life, someone who lives for music, and above all someone who's at one with instrument!!!! :@)

Drummers who are bored with playing covers!!
We are an Indie Guitar Band Playing original "Loud" Music based in Maidstone.
Up until Recently we were playing London gigs and a few local open air gigs, but our drummer left us. We have the set and although we take things seriously we only rehearse once a week and play a few gigs a year, which gives you plenty of chance to do other things.

Young drummer wanted!
Drummer needed to join a band, we're all living in Ashford and 16-17 years old so give or take a couple of years should be fine.
Our influences are pretty wide; but mainly, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blink-182, Jimmy Eat World, AC/DC etc... We may like a bit of metal every now and then, not often though...
MUST have your own kit and a place we can come and practice, whether that be a house, garage, mountain-top, underwater or whatever. We're not asking you to be the best drummer in the world, experience in a band isn't necessary but eventually we're planning world domination.

Established Maidstone based rock band seeking new members.
Maidstone based band seeking new members for original rock music with touches of blues, funk and prog. The bass player and drummer have moved away and with work and distance can no longer commit the time to working with the band. It's with heavy heart that I'm therefore forced to look for people to take over for them to continue giging the material that I have written for the band. There's roughly 3 CDs worth of original material, and the band has gigged with established names on the club circuit such as Aynsley Lister and Eddie & The Hot Rods and recently attracted some interest from Robin Trower.
I've made some of the very rough mixes from the second cd available at the site listed here for an idea of style, but the live set mostly consists of new songs. Would be looking for artists intheir 20s ideally, but any interest considered with a view to get back up and running ASAP.

Looking to start arty musical project with like- minded souls, with a penchant for artistic/ sonic adventure, and hopefully have a bit of a laugh along the way. Looking to fuse 'musical' elements with noisier, experimental stuff.

Bassist Sought (Tunbridge Wells, Kent)
We are a 3 piece originals rock band (although we do play a few covers) sadly our bass player is having to stop due to ill health. This is a situation in which a seasoned (40+) enthusiastic amateur bassist would probably be most comfortable, We meet every couple of weeks or so to rehearse or record and have been gigging occasionally in Kent and Sussex for the past year as well. We have a small PA but you will need to bring your own bass and amp. If you can sing backing vocals too, that would be an advantage, but it's your bass playing skills we really need. URGENT Singer / Frontman 50's 60's Band (Bexley)
We are a band consisting of 2 Guitars , Bass and Drums , but due to our current singer having other commitments we are now in urgent need of a singer to take over .
We have a great set list (which I can email to you , as well as a link to our Myspace page to give you an idea of what we are about ) consisting of stuff like , walk in the room, summertime blues , little sister , marylou , mess of blues , sweet home chicago , summertime , route 66 , bad moon rising ,The wanderer ,Whole lotta shakin ,move it, great balls of fire ,etc etc . but of course we are also open to any ideas you may have too .
We currently rehearse at Abbeywood rehearsal studios Erith on a wednesday afternoon but we may be able to agree a different time if need be .

Vocalist wanted for originals project
We are a group comprising guitar, bass, drums and piano/keys. We meet in the Ashford area every couple of weeks. We write our own music, which can be neatly pigeon-holed in the 'acoustic/pop/rock/ballad/jazz/anything goes' bracket. Our age range is 30s to 50s. We don't take ourselves too seriously, and the focus is on having fun, whilst trying to create some new music.
We are looking for a singer to add another dimension to our songs. Gender, age and experience is not important, but you need to have your own mic and can drive.
If you can play an instrument - say, guitar - that's great. If you write your own stuff and wish to contribute -even better. If your dad owns a record label - you're in.
We intend to start gigging in 2012, and - when the time is right - book a recording studio.

Rhythm guitarist and drummer, of a certain age, into Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochrane, Buddy Holly, Elvis, Everlys - you get the picture. We've been around the block more than once. Keys/synth style player needed for 2012
Hello. Our function band is looking for a versatile, reliable and easy going keys player to join our function band early next year. We would like you to work alongside our current keyboard player so that the workload is shared. This can be explained more on enquiry.
We are based on the East coast of Kent but travel throughout Kents function venues to perform on a regular basis. Obviously own transport and kit is essential.
We play the varied style function music that all wedding and corporate bands play but we also are playing tunes which are lovely to play which other bands havent thought of.
We have been very fortunate to have had some great keys players over our 18 years together as a band but with work life balance getting harder for everybody we see the job share idea as the best way forward for us for now.

New band looking for drummer and bass player
Hi, Guitarist and Vocalist looking to form a gigging covers band, playing mainly mid 90's/ stuff up to present day although there are no rules, think U2, Foo's Nivarna, Pearl Jam, Chilli Peppers, Kings of Leon, Ocean Colour Scene, that sort of thing.
You need to able to play well, have suitable, gear, transport etc, backing vocals would be great but not essential. You also need to take it seriously and be committed, but of course it's for fun, why else! Age, so far we average 40, but basically as long as you can play and drive yourself around!
Initially practice will most likely be an evening in Canterbury but we'll arrange to suit everyone as we go.

the kind of bands that influence me are most rock and metal type bands, including paramore, escape the fate, a skylit drive, h.i.m., black veil brides, seether, get scared, blessthefall, and many more... so that will be the kinda idea i would like the band to have in mind, most the vocals i intend to use will be singing (although if you can scream then let me know, i did a couple of screams in my old band as well as singing, but i would like to focus on more clean vocals ideally)
im looking for people who will take this seriously and be available to make a practice once a week, i have somewhere free we can use saturday evenings in crowborough, so being local would be helpful (so tunbridge wells uckfield etc)and having a means of transport available to you each time.
as well as that i need people who are capable of writing their own music (NOT covers) and will have energy on stage to put on a good show, also a good sense of humour and personality, people who know how to have fun, so we can all become good friends.

you will need your own equipment and to be able to bring it along to practices each week.

Up and coming original Indie/Rock/Alternative band seeks professional lead guitarist.
Ideally we are looking for someone with a cool image, that's roughly between 20-30 who is confident and a competent player.
Someone with a reasonable knowledge of effects pedals and a voice for backing vocals is also desirable but not essential.

Bass & Vocals Wanted!!!
Drummer & Guitarist are looking for Bass & vocals. The band are called The Scalextrics and we already have gigs booked for 2012, but we really need a permanent bass player with good sound/feel and would prefer someone with a good vocal ability as well if possible (although not critical) to play versions of new wave/punk/reggae/indie/rock/pyschedelia by The Clash, Hawkwind, Buzzcocks, Rolling Stones, The Jam, Cream/Hugh Cornwell, Ian Dury, Toots & The Maytals, Easy Star All Stars, Sex Pistols, Banshees/Beatles, Joe Jackson, Iggy Pop, Elvis Costello, Magazine, Supergrass, Pixies, Talking Heads, Lou Reed, Creedence Clearwater, The Stranglers, Bowie and many others.
We currently cover all vocal duties between drums & guitar and ideally our first option would be a bass/vocal player to join us as a three piece. However, as a second option we would definitely take a good bass player without vocal ability, and would then also welcome a talented frontman/vocalist as long as they have experience, image and a good strong voice or they are just naturally gifted, and if they play an instrument as well that is a real bonus!
As regards the music we are quite flexible in the way we play the songs, and do not aim to play identical note for note cover versions of the original bands, we are not a tribute band! We want to really enjoy what we do, and leave our mark on what we play!!!

Musician required to dep for our acoustic bass/mandolin player with possibility of joining full time depending on instruments played. We require first and foremost a bass player but someone who plays other instruments such as mandolin, keyboards, or fiddle etc, also some voals/harmonies required.

Percussionist/conga player wanted for big band
Our percussionist has very sadly had to a leave due to work commitments. We play modern big band charts and quite a few Latin numbers where there is plenty of scope for a creative percussionist. A basic conga or half-conga set is all you need plus a few shakers and other small percussion instruments. No need to read charts although there are some percussion parts available if required. No previous experience necessary, just a good sense of rhythm!
: If you are interested, we rehearse in Lordswood every Tuesday evening, the age range is currently 20's to 60's but an enthusiastic teenager would be considered and of course a retired player would be more than welcome.

were looking for a new Bassist regrettably we had to let ours go due to that age old chestnut.... commitment issues.
We practice weekly in Ashford, we only do our own material (yay), we've had a few gigs but have had to stop due to obvious reasons. Were all good musicians and are serious and focused about the band we've had a single and video out and have plans for future releases/videos and gigs.

Rockin' Lead guitarist needed
Dixie Fried are a 50's rock n roll/rockabilly/blues covers band, and we are in need of a lead guitarist that knows how to pick his (or her) way to a frenzy! Must be willing to rehearse and ideally needs to know a lot of the tunes already.

DRUMMER URGENTLY REQUIRED
I am urgently looking for a drummer to join the Charlie Monroe band.
We are recently formed so are still in the rehearsal stages.
The other band members are mid 30's so around the same age group would be good although not necessary.
I would like someone who is not already playing in other bands or who is not a diva!!....
I would like you to be 100% committed to playing in our band so we can get gigging by xmas at the latest.
Bookings are already in place for 2012 and we have several agents interested as i have been on the circuit as a solo act for 20 years. All gigs will be kent and sussex and essex will be the furthest we go.
The set list comprises of cover songs from the 50's through to modern day music.

Versatile female singer Wanted for 60's & 70's function/theatre band.
The Vintage Corporation are a 9 piece band who are looking for a new female vocalist. Duties will include taking lead vocals for well known songs from the era by artists as diverse as ABBA, Lulu, Tina Turner, Suzi Quatro etc... As well as backing vocals/harmonies for when our male vocalist takes the stage.
Ideally we are looking for a female 30+ (but this is not a requirement) and who wants to have fun, the band is a big family and enjoy each others company. Hey all
Me (vox/guitar/keys) and my bro (vox/drums)are setting up a new band and need a decent, committed bassist. we've been gigging for the last ten years or more in different bands, solos, duos, etc...
We have loads of different influences and play various styles but will be looking at playing some sort of experimental, indy, rock kinda jizzle...
We need someone ideally 21 - 32 with the right gear and attitude and with vox an added bonus. Not afraid to have a laugh and get involved would be perfect!
Must drive!
We'll be looking at doing a fair bit of rehearsing and writing/working on originals mainly. We also appreciate its easy to make a few quid so we will be throwing some brit rock covers into the whole thing but main focus will be originals.
Long term plan is to get a decent albums worth of songs (written) recorded properly and just play out. We are pretty well connected so gigs easily available.

Experienced Pianist / keyboard player
We are an established functions band playing a variety of classics from the 60s to present, based in the Maidstone/Ashford area.
The line-up is Lead vocal - Guitar/vocals - Bass/vocals - Drums - Keyboards.
Ideally (but not exclusively), we need a pianist/organist who can cover a 12 bar lead break if required, and also lead parts in songs which have prominent keyboards. This could feature various sounds including strings, brass, or synth backing parts?
We try to add good vocal harmonies to many of our numbers, and we add further variety with both ballads and light rock numbers. Songs from the Moody Blues to Queen, from The Beatles to Clapton, and Lionel Richie to Abba.

Does you band need some SPICE! Samplist available to give your band that extra depth and atmosphere. I use a Yamaha SU10 Sampling unit, a Korg Kaossilator, korg Monotron, Korg DS-10 Synthesizer and some classic 80's Retro Mid sized digital keyboards for that classic 80's sound if required? Keys/Synth Player Required
Keyboard player required for gigging 80's rock/pop band. Due to our current keyboard player relocating, we are now searching for another, hugely talented keyboard player. We are currently playing pubs as we are a newly formed band but as soon as we get our new keys player in place, we will be performing mainly functions and events.
We are also performing songs that are not currently played much on the circuit. PENTHOUSE are looking for a NEW DRUMMER
PENTHOUSE have been playing in the current line-up for about a year. We are based in Canterbury, Folkestone and Deal. We are experienced musicians used to playing/writing/performing in a host of differing styles. Drummer required for original prog rock show
We're a female-fronted 5-piece, with all-original songs in a crossover prog/trance vein. We have a CD recorded and some radio play. As this is not your average pub rock band, we are working on a theatrical show to put on in halls and small theatres with a view to touring eventually.
We have been playing a lot with computer sequences, and now require a real drummer to work with us to make this concept a reality. You should be 30+ with a few years' experience under your belt, although we are by no means pro. This is strictly amateur at the moment, and intended to be fun - although we want to push it as far as we can, given the quality of the material - so don't expect to be earning from this any time soon!

Experienced Rhythm Guitarist required
I am looking for committed and reliable experienceed rhythm guitarist to play in my band.
I am a singer and have been on the music circuit on and off for twenty years having played at numerous functions in trios and bands. I launched my band as a business earlier this year and have subsequently played a couple of gigs with professional musicians under the name of Insignia and have now found experienced musicians who are willing to work whilst having fun.
The set-list will be a mixture of contemporary pop & rock.
This is what I require:

. you must learn and know the play list before working with me
. be a good time keeper
. be willing to attend unpaid rehearsals
. be happy committing to my band that will gig regularly, usually at weekends
. have your own equipment and transport
. backing vocals desirable, but not essential.
With the pricing structure I'm planning, I hope to eventually offer a minimum of £100 per gig plus expenses if the gig is a distance. I have been dealing with all the marketing, logistics and admin. You just turn up and play. This year may be a bit slow to start with playing pubs but next year we will get busier as I have secured a wedding and function venue.
I have a couple of 'higher end' gigs lined up this year and hope to book more shortly.

We are a recently formed 5 piece function band based in Iwade nr Sittingbourne Kent . All experienced and aiming for the pro circuit. Pretty much got a set together, when our guitarist left.
The band: Female singer (front), guitar/Male vocals, bass and drums. apart from our singer (24) we are in our forties.
We do a full range from the 60's to present day
Pretty much going to do what we need to please an audience; from David Bowie/Pink Floyd/ Duffy/ all genres.
We also have a lot of original material that we want to introduce later! This is from another project we have a band called Blisster97 which includes occasional gigs and recording (CD's etc)

Axl Rose needed for Guns Vs Roses - a GNR tribute
We are looking for a new singer to play the part of Axl Rose in Guns Vs Roses, a tribute to the classic Guns N' Roses lineup (pre-Chinese Democracy). The band is a "new startup" - we've been together since June but have just lost our singer and have almost a full set ready to go. We are all high caliber musicians using authentic gear and costumes and are looking for a singer to complete our lineup. You should be able to singe like Axl and be willing to wear some costumes to look the part. If you can play some piano and own a PA that would be even better but isn't necessary.
We rehearse weekly (usually!) at a variety of locations around north west Kent (Bluewater, Ebbsfleet, Gillingham, Chatham) so you need to be able to commit to regular rehearsals. Our intention is to play clubs, private functions and University gigs, two or three times a month. This isn't a full time project, we all in our early thirties, have families and day jobs. This is something we are doing for fun but with an element of commitment too. We want to be the best GNR tribute that we can be.

Rockabilly! Bassist and Drummer needed.

Sort of folk band looking for cello
Los Salvadores is in the market for a cellist.
We are a four piece modern folk band, based in Sittingbourne and Canterbury, and the current line-up includes acoustic guitar, violin, French horn and four-part harmonies (two male, two female).
We spend our summers playing festivals up and down the UK, and play pubs and folk clubs during the winter months. Highlights have included main stage at Lounge on The Farm, and a heap of high-profile support slots.

Lead Guitarist wanted for Scandal
Scandal are looking for a new guitarist. Current guitarist, Tik, is playing out with us till October.
So what do we want then?
We're a traditional rock band. Les Pauls and Marshalls(no amp modelling, no Parker Flys and preferably only a few pedals) Covering good older stuff that no-one else does. Posion, Reo Speedwagon, GnR, Charlie Daniels Band, Abba, Tom Jones, TRex, Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore, The darkness.
Mid-forties, been around the block etc.
About 4 gigs a month maybe up to 6 or 7. We have a place to rehearse. Dover based.
What we want is someone that will fit in. There's no egos here. We don't want to be stars. We want to get down the pub and rock out with our guitars. We don't play originals although I have some very good AC/DC type songs that need developing (because they are entertaining)
We just want to entertain and have a laugh.
Backing vocals would be good. and the ability to interact with the audience as opposed to looking at the floor or your fingers.
Gigs are booked and the band is tight.
Emphasis here is on fun.
oh and a love of guitars is quite important too.

We're Skinny, an originals band who've just finished recording and mastering our debut album (That was then, this is now), but who's drummer has had to leave the country (literally!), so to be able to promote the album, keep the dream alive and move forward with massive strides, we need a new drummer.
We've been around a few years, write all our own material and have gigged around London and the South East including Camden Rock and the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town.
We've had our music played on radio, had plaudits galore and now really want to get back to the coalface and promote our new album, gig and write new tunes.
Not that we sound anything like our influences, but to give you an idea of what makes us tick...

We practice in the Maidstone area, so ideally you'll be someone from south east London, Medway etc that can make it over.
You'll have passion, good bit of experience, ideally be aged 25-45 and be able to put on a good show.

I'm a singer/songwriter, live in Tunbridge Wells and who's looking for a side project creating something new, but with a flavour and passion based on the old.
It's even got a name - Nine Mile Burn.
My influences include the Small Faces, The Who, The Creation, The Jam, Miles Kane, OCS, Shed 7, The Bluetones, Rolling Stones, Noel, Blur, Kula Shaker, The Kinks, The Beatles, a love of northern soul/early ska... I think you get the picture.
Britpop. Mod. Call it what you will.
So, starting with a blank piece of paper, I'm looking at rounding up a Guitarist, Keyboard player (Hammond would be great), drummer, and bass player. Ages of 25-45 and any level of talent (but with a bit of style) and lets just see what happens. Passion for the music is more important than anything. Hopefully, any practice will be in the Tunbridge Wells area.
In my mind, Kent is crying out for a decent new band. You could be in it.

Drummer Urgently Needed
We are a gigging band with a couple of club/pub events lined up this year.
The next is on 20th August and we urgently need to replace our drummer who has
spontaneously combusted his way to the United States for the rest of the year.
We are looking for a permanent replacement. We are based in North West Kent and Thanet (bizarre I know).
We are looking for someone who can learn the set quickly and then join us for a full day rehearsal (or two and on a weekend) before the gig. To that end we are looking for someone who can practice at home, has their own transport and doesn't mind travelling. We consider ourselves a tight unit and all the members have extensive gigging experience. Two of the more challenging numbers (for the drummer) we do are 'No One Knows' by Queens of the Stone Age and 'Use Somebody' by Kings of Leon. A full set list can be supplied on request. We have some demo tracks available on myspace.

INSIGNIA FUNCTION BAND
I am looking for committed and reliable musicians to play in my function band.
I am a singer and have been on the music circuit on and off for twenty years having played at numerous functions. I launched my band as a business earlier this year and have subsequently played a couple of gigs with professional musicians under the name of Insignia and I now require more musicians for availability.
The set-list will be a mixture of soul/70s & 80s pop/motown/contemporary pop & rock.
This is what I require:
. You must have had some experience on the function circuit
. you must learn and know the play list before working with me
. be a good time keeper
. be willing to attend at least 3 unpaid rehearsals in Kent prior to first paid gig
. be happy committing to my band that will gig regularly, usually at weekends.
. be available from September 2011
. have your own equipment and transport
. backing vocals desirable, but not essential.
With the pricing structure I'm planning, I hope to offer a minimum of £100 per gig plus expenses if the gig is a distance. I have been dealing with all the marketing, logistics and admin. You just turn up and play. This year may be a bit slow to start with, but next year we will be busy as I have secured wedding and function packages with venues.
I have one gig lined up this year and hope to book more shortly.

I am a Director of The Community Brain and we are working in Ashford on a project named Revealing Ashford which involves a number of different artists and organisations creating surprising, engaging, innovative projects throughout the town and surrounding villages from June - October.
The Community Brain is creating a real pop-up venue that will appear at various events throughout Ashford in the summer and will also be in residence at various businesses. The pop-up venue is a programmable space that can house acoustic music acts, stand up comedy, theatrical displays workshops, visual art displays etc - it's aim is to be a very flexible space, easy to erect quickly, and eventually it will be owned by the Ashford community so that anyone putting on a small event has access to this portable venue.
The venue will also be decorated by the community as it moves from place to place based on the theme of the dreams of the people of Ashford and how they would like to see the arts grow and develop.
We are bringing the venue to the following events in June and July:
12 June - Teddy Bears Picnic (Willesborough Windmill)
03 July - Tentertainment (Tenterden Rec)
09 July - Picnic in the Garden (Egerton Music Festival)
30 July - Ashford Is (old Stour Centre entrance)
We are currently looking for local performers who may wish to perform in the space during any of these events. The venue is here to help bring out the artistic talents throughout Ashford!
The pop up venue can only realistically fit 2-3 people inside it, but there is no reason why outside of the venue cannot also be utilised for larger dance/choir groups etc.

Female dep vocalist needed for Abba tribute band
Hi there,
We are an established Abba tribute based in Rochester, Kent looking for a singer to cover holidays/sick days,etc for the 'Agnetha' part.
The show is lots of fun and there is easy choreography to follow, we travel all over Kent, Essex, Sussex, Surrey and London as a duo or four piece band.
Requirements are:
You can sing WELL and harmonize
Must be able to drive
Clothes size from 8 to 12
You don't have to have long blonde hair as wigs can be provided.

Broken need a Lead Guitarist
Busy, female fronted, rock covers band, based in mid-Kent, require a versatile lead Guitarist - ideally with vocals.
About Us: 4 piece, exceptional female vocals. Been together 3 years. All experienced, gig hardened, nice bunch. Like a laugh and a pint but also committed to getting it right. Modern rock covers with a few classics thrown in is where we pitch ourselves - from Ga Ga to Bon Jovi to Fleetwood Mac etc etc. We're not pro's (we all work) but aspire to be professional in all dealings.
We'll rehearse to suit each others locations i.e in the middle!
About You: Looking for a lead Guitarist that's comfortable with lots of dates (inc. New Year's Eve). We gig from South London to Hastings so mucho travelling. Versatile player, able to rehearse as & when, harmony vocals a bonus. Good gear, tone etc etc. Open minded when it comes to song choices. Team player. If you think lots of gigs will cause 'a domestic' then this probably isn't for you.
We'll be holding auditions at a time and venue t.b.c, probably a studio. Pick 3 songs from our set list to play etc etc (see website).

Hi,
Local Ashford band in desperate need of vocalist/front person. Currently consisting of Lead, Rhythm & Bass guitar and drummer we play everything from Foo Fighters, Oasis, CCR, Steppen Wolf, Stereophonics, Feeder to Neil Young. We're looking to add more material all the time, so your input in developing the set list is also important.
We've had couple a gigs in Ashford, where we went down really well and have invites from these gigs.
We have paid gigs booked in Ashford this summer and autumn.
We're all 30/40 somethings and enjoy performing in the local pub scene.

We are a hard rock/metal originals band all in our 30s
Our sound is a cross between Alice in chains,Alter Bridge & Godsmack.
Originals set ready to be gigged and we are always writing new material.
We are looking for vocal style to match bands such as Alter Bridge,Godsmack,Metallica,Alice in Chains or Stone Sour,so we need someone that can actually sing with alot of balls behind it.Defo NO Screamos.
